AbĈ ĂAmr al-BaĆrą’s Explantion of The MutawĀtir Readings of the Glorious Qurāan

The researcher has collected in this paper the mutawĀtir readings of the Glorious Qurāan attributed to AbĈ ĂAmr al-BaĆrą (d. 154 AH).

The paper consists of the following parts:

• Introduction in which is discussed the importance of the subject.
• Preface which deals with the meaning of the term tawjąh.
• Section One which deals with the life of AbĈ ĂAmr al-BaĆrą, and an introduction to his qirãāah.
• Section Two which deals with AbĈ ĂAmr’s explanation of his  qirãāah.
• Epilogue contains the most important findings of the study.
